Tayfun Selen

We didn’t win last night.

I called to congratulate my opponents and offered them help that they may need throughout their campaign going into general election in November.

Our campaign was not about me. It was about our principles. Small Government and Term Limits.

Although we didn’t win the election last night we earned the support of 1384 voters. We needed about 2900 votes to win.

I would like to thank everyone who supported our campaign, my campaign manager Zachary Filzer, who worked hard, folks who knocked on doors, made phone calls for our campaign, and my wife Tulin and my daughter Defne for sacrificing for me and standing with me all the way throughout the entire campaign.

Thank you!

Thank you for visiting my campaign website.

My name is Tayfun Selen and I am running for New Jersey Assembly as a Republican.

I’ve never run for an office before.

I am fiscally conservative. I strongly believe that the issues we have as a state and country are too small in comparison to the greatness of the character of our people. America is the greatest country on earth. There isn’t any problem that we cannot solve if we come together as one nation and one people. As a first generation immigrant, I am grateful to New Jersey and America for the opportunities they gave me. It is time for me to give back.

I am in this to work hard and create opportunities for everyone and help Governor Christie to make New Jersey to be the most desired state to live in. It is not too difficult. It takes courage and determination…and I am confident that I have the both.

Please support my campaign and help me making New Jersey the #1 state in the nation.
